Ah, New Years Eve, one of those nights where we search for the perfect outfit, the perfect statement to take us from one year to the next. After searching online, I’ve picked up some outfit inspiration: NYE status.
Now, I’ve worn various kinds of outfits on NYE. When I’ve been hanging out with cousins and other relatives, I’ve worn a more casual, festive look, like a fun, red plaid shirt with skinnies or leggings with Christmas socks. Other times, I’ve gone out in a dress and tights or a statement top with dark denim or black pants.
This year, I’m choosing to wear a jumpsuit. A few weeks ago, I picked it up at one of our local Orlando boutiques, called Downtown Divas. I’ve been wanting to get one for some time now and, when I stumbled upon one (that was actually short enough!) I grabbed it. If it’s cold enough, I plan to wear it with a fur coat. If not, I’ll be sure to wear a fun shirt underneath (it’s strapless and I love that layered look).
Well, I guess it’s time to share some inspo with you. I hope that your NYE activities take you somewhere fun and that you’ve got someone special – whether family, friend, or significant other – to ring the new year in with.
Here’re some looks I’ve fallen in love with. Be sure to click on the images to go back to the blogger’s original post!
Minimal Top | Ruffled Skirt | Minimal Heels
Bright, Glitter-Filled Dress | Neutral Heels
Jumpsuit | Coordinating Accessories
Velvet Dress | OTK Boots | Casual Cardi
Sweater | Warm Socks
Obvi, the first four outfits are for those that have plans outdoors. But, if your plans this year are to stay inside, cozied up by the fire or under warm blankets, I’d definitely sport the last outfit.
For those that are interested in looking at more options, I’ve rounded up a couple posts from some of my other favorite bloggers, Michelle (Take Aim) and Julia (Gal Meets Glam). You can find those here and here.
