Now that I’ve cleaned out my closet, I’m beginning to search for some pieces I need. Since I like to do a mix of local shopping, along with that typical mall shopping, I started with a few boutiques that I love. After looking around, I found the five fall pieces I need to add to my wardrobe.
The first piece that I found is from a local Orlando boutique called Sophie and Trey. This boutique made a quick leap to the top of my favorite places to shop. The clothes are cute, trend-driven, and inexpensive.
Since I like to wear pieces in heavy rotation for a season, this kind of boutique is perfect for me. I’m a proponent of donating items that I no longer wear and being able to purchase items inexpensively guarantees my ability to donate the items to those in need.
This sweater (click on the image to head to the site!) is the perfect fall/winter piece. I love the effortless, chic feeling of it. I could totes wear this with leggings and OTK boots, skinnies and booties, or over a fitted dress, creating an almost skirt-shirt vibe.
I also love how the piece was styled in the images taken on the site. The perfect sweater makes the most perfect fall outfits. And the color makes it something that can be worn with multiple things. Yep, this is a good staple piece.
The next piece that I found: new outerwear. And it’s red.
This faux leather jacket is a fun way to add the red trend into your closet this fall. The shade is fun enough to be worn out on the weekends and would spice up a favorite look of mine (all black).
The blogger, Lauren from Lo & Behold, paired this jacket with a striped button-down, denim, and mules. Her casual chic look is perfect for exploring downtown. I’d also pair this jacket over a feminine dress to toughen it up for a casual brunch.
Yep – a smile, sunnies, and this jacket create the perfect ensemble for brunch. And mimosas.
And speaking of smiles…I’ve been searching for the perfect jumpsuit. AND I FOUND ONE.
I mean, who doesn’t want a jumpsuit for fall?! It’s the perfect item – at least, I think so. And for someone that loves wearing rompers, this is a great transitional piece (and wearing tights under a romper, of course).
So, when I saw this jumpsuit, I knew I had to get it. I mean look at it! It’s perfect for work, for going out on the weekends, and for a little brunch date with my main man.
It’s got a classic look to it and is minimal enough to be dressed down or dressed up.
Yep, I can’t wait to get my hands on this piece.
The next piece? Mules. I mean, I’ve been super obsessed with them since they first popped up on the scene…and I STILL have not picked up a pair. I mean, really!?! Who am I?
These, to me, are beautiful. I love the pearl detailing. It adds a little bit of feminine romance, which I always love. To be honest, in a shoe I prefer a more classic vibe.
I want shoes that I will always want; not a pair that’s going to last for a brief season.
And the last piece I need?
That one designer piece that I said I’d purchase. Right now, I’m looking at a few bags. Wanna see what I’ve got to think about? I hope so, because I’m going to show you!
I’ve also had my eye on this Gucci Marmont Matelassé Mini Bag. It’s a good classic bag that I see lots of bloggers wear.
I think it would be a good but classic statement piece.
Other than Dior and Gucci? I haven’t done much searching.
Got ideas for my first designer handbag?
